Where in the world are we, where are we going, and what are we planning?
We’re now HOME! Yes indeed, we’re back in Vancouver from our year-long adventure. It’s been amazing, to say the least; this map documents some of the places we have had the good fortune to experience over the last 365 days. A reminder: the map is interactive, so click, double-click, zoom here and there… enjoy!

Here’s the same map, but zoomed into the area of Eastern Uganda that was (is) so impacted by the March 2010 mudslides. For those curious, we stayed in Mbale, and spent most of our time in Bufukhula. Bududa is the region hit by the slides, and this view provides an understanding of (a) the topography of the region, and (b) just how close Bufukhula is to this devastated region of Uganda.
